The competition is open from November 10 to November 24, 2023.

The competition is open until November 24, 2023, and artists can participate with a maximum of two works (paintings, graphics, drawings, sculptures, etc.) not older than two years. The format of the artworks is not specified.

Authors should submit two photographs of their works via email, in 300 DPI resolution, along with their artistic biography, a completed form (title, technique, dimensions, year of creation), their address, phone number, and email address, to the email address: galerija@muzejvranje.rs

In the application, it is mandatory to provide the exact address to which the artwork will be returned and a contact telephone number. Drawings, graphics, and paper works do not need to be framed if they do not exceed the dimensions of 100 x 70 cm. Authors are responsible for the transportation costs of the artworks.

The organizer commits to promote the exhibition through media, organize the exhibition opening, and print a catalog that all participants will receive when their works are returned. The organizer does not accept responsibility for any damage during the transportation of the artworks. The organizer will keep the original packaging in which the artworks are returned by mail to the artists at the provided address no later than April 1, 2024.

The exhibition’s opening is scheduled for December 27, 2023, at 7:00 PM, and in the case of unforeseen circumstances, this date is subject to change.

The exhibition will be juried and selected.

After the selection, authors will be notified of the results via email. Selected authors must submit their works no later than December 20, 2023.

The “9th Biennial of Artists of Vranje” awards one cash prize by a professional jury. The winner will be announced at the exhibition’s opening.
