In the Monastery of St. Prohor Pčinjski, on the feast day of St. King Milutin (12th November 2024), one of the monastery’s founders, the permanent display of the monastery treasury was inaugurated.

It features icons, liturgical objects, books, and archival materials, providing valuable information for researchers about the art workshops of iconographers, master artisans, cultural influences, the veneration of St. Prohor of Pčinja, and iconography.

The exhibition was curated by Jelena Atanasović, senior curator and historian at the National Museum Vranje.

The display is the result of the efforts and cooperation between the Eparchy of Vranje and the Museum, with outstanding support from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.

Speakers at the event included His Eminence Archbishop and Metropolitan of Vranje Pahomije, Museum Director Maja Aleksić, and SPC Archive Director Radovan Pilipović. The exhibition was formally opened by Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković.
